Malaysiaku: Satu Hati, Sejuta Wajah​ What makes us Malaysian? Why do we share such a unique identity when we ourselves are totally rojak in our looks, cultures and traditions?

This contest is looking for portraits of our Malaysia. The people and places and things we do (sure got makan shots right?) that make us like no one else on earth.

Chup! Please feel free to go beyond the selfie people! Show us who and what you think makes us Malaysian at heart.
Let’s celebrate the crazy muruku mix of behaviour that makes us go “Alamak!”, “Aiyoh!”, “Keh Keh Keh!”, “Wah Lau Eh!”

Submit as many photos via INSTAGRAM with a short description of their photo no less then 20 words and tag#SatuHati2015.

All Malaysians are also called to participate by liking their favourite photos at #SatuHati2015 on Instagram.



The top 15 photographs with the most *hearts* on Instagram, along with 10 ‘wildcard’ photographs chosen by the organizers, will be selected for judging by a professional panel of judges.

The 25 finalists’ photos will be exhibited and a prize giving ceremony held at Bangsar Village on Malaysia Day, 16th September 2015.
A Malaysiaku Cultural Celebration will also take place from 10am-3pm at Bangsar Village on 16th September 2015 to celebrate Malaysia’s birthday.

Prizes:

1x Grand Winner – RM 2000
1x 1st Runner Up – RM 1000
5x 2nd Runner Up – RM500 each
Other finalists – RM100 food voucher from Cava Restaurant each

The photography competition will take place from the 1st August 2015 till the 31st August 2015.
